Catapult City is a rising indie band out of central Virginia. Their signature “citygaze” sound blends post-rock and shoegaze with ambient textures and pop sensibility. Known for their camaraderie, DIY ethic, and cathartic live shows, the band has packed venues in Lynchburg and taken their sound across the East Coast on their first headlining tour. Emerging from the region’s growing DIY scene, Catapult City has built a reputation for emotionally immersive performances and collaborative songwriting that stays true to a wide variety of influences. The band will release their debut album in 2026.
